Wade Hickam Joins Col-Met as Co-Owner

Hickam, who has 30 years’ experience in the finishing industry, will work alongside founder and CEO Eric Jones and the entire Col-Met team.

Wade Hickam has joined Col-Met Engineered Finishing Solutions as a co-owner, alongside founder and CEO Eric Jones.

“Wade will work with myself and the entire Col-Met team in providing direction as it relates to further improving our distributor partner relationships, developing and implementing new Col-Met products, implementing additional marketing programs, improving operational efficiency, and spearheading other strategic growth initiatives,” Jones says.

Hickam has 30 years’ experience in the finishing industry. He spent 17 years at ITW Finishing, now known as Carlisle Fluid Technologies, as general manager of several business units before deciding to leave in 2003 to own and manage C&C Industrial Sales for the next 13 years.  After growing CCIS into one of the largest finishing distributors in North America, he sold this business to OTP Industrial Solutions at the end of 2016.
