Performa 560 is an ammonium-free, high-alloy acid zinc/nickel process from Coventya. Suitable for both rack and barrel applications, it can be applied to a variety of materials, including cast iron, and to small, heat-treated fasteners.

Performa 560 is an ammonium-free, high-alloy acid zinc/nickel process from Coventya. Suitable for both rack and barrel applications, it can be applied to a variety of materials, including cast iron, and to small, heat-treated fasteners. According to the company, the process has been approved by several brake caliper manufacturers.

The Performa 560 process features three highly-stable additives that all can be analyzed via HPLC; a burn-free, high-current-density range, even when operating at >30 ASF; a bright low-current-density range; FiniDip passivate technology for improved NSST/CCT performance and bath life; and inorganic FiniGard technology that is compatible with brake fluid and is said to be more cost-effective than competitive offerings.
