MPP Magnus Power Sonics’ line of Mini-TunnelSonics automated inline cleaning systems is based around its line of powerful, Type NT, radial ultrasonic transducers. Type NT transducers are cylindrical and expose parts to “full surround” ultrasonic sound waves, thus providing cavitation much greater than “flat” transducers and allowing packaging of entire MTS cellular systems into footprints less than 10 ft long. Smaller parts are conveyed into an immersion bath, receive “full surround” cavitation, then exit through a filtered wash spray. Ultrasonic immersion provides the best scrubbing action for cleaning. Upon exit from wash, parts receive full filtered spray stage for rinsing and can pass through other rinse, inhibit and dry stages, as the process requires. Filtered spray rinsing provides the cleanest solution to contact the part prior to exit. Manual or automatic load and other ancillary options complete a full line offering.
