The Koch Rejuvenator is designed to clean baths more often than other tank dumping operations at a lower operating cost. According to the company, the system removes as much as 99.8 percent of the oil and dirt from the solution.

A side stream of cleaner solution with typical oil contamination at 0.5 to 1 percent is pumped from the surface preparation washer cleaner tank and added to the concentrate tank. The solution is pumped through a ceramic membrane, with the dirty solution returning to the concentration tank and the cleaned solution returning to the cleaner tank. When the oil and other suspended matter reach a predetermined concentration, the dirty solution is further concentrated to 30 or 40 percent. The concentrate is then pumped to waste treatment or a waste container for off-site treatment.
