The Blow Off Station from Royal is suitable for removal of coolant, chips and dust from workpieces and other components as large as 12 × 12 × 12 inches, the company says. The workstation features a downdraft extraction system which activates when the operator steps on the foot pedal, creating a suction that draws debris into an internal collection chamber. An OSHA-compliant air gun provides secondary cleaning power to help dislodge stubborn particles, but the gun can only be operated if the extraction unit is working, preventing harmful contaminants from being propelled into the atmosphere. The system does not use electricity – it is completely powered by a standard ¼-inch shop airline and has minimal air consumption requirements. The unit features rear wheels and a balanced design to make it portable – to move around the shop as needed. The unit features all-steel construction and a durable powder-coated finish to withstand heavy industrial use.
