Caplugs’ Rubber Masking Cap-Plug (RMCP) series is designed to mask standard-size copper inlet/outlet tubes on HVAC compressor units. The plug eliminates the need for two parts during the masking and pressure testing processes, reducing labor and expense. Made of styrene-butadiene rubber, the material enables the plug to reseal itself after nitrogen injection/charging. The company recommends the series for temperatures as high as 212° F (100° C).
