The Ultra-MACT dry scrubber from Midwest Air Products combines multiple-stage composite mesh pad (CMP) technology with a final-stage HEPA filter to efficiently remove chrome mists while maintaining long filter life and reducing operating expense. The system features CMP and HEPA stages, fans, control panels and washdown equipment. Alternatively, the final-stage HEPA housing and filters can be retro-fit to the company’s Enforcer III chrome eliminators or other CMP devices.
