Blasdel Enterprises, a leader in custom-design industrial ovens, recently delivered an adjustable width, two-sided vertical infrared oven system used to cure powder coating on lead weights.

The finished oven is 15 ft. long and 3 ft. high with width adjusts from 36" to 48". The oven’s flexibility focuses the radiant panels at the appropriate distance from various sizes of lead weights. Equipped for even heat control, the oven features three heat zones arranged in height and utilizes 18WSI ceramic panel emitters.

Blasdel also supplied a NEMA 12 control panel (UL 508A rated) housing the three PID temperature controllers which efficiently control each of the three heat zones.

Features include aluminum baffles on the entrance and exit end and filler panels and also features a 15-ft.-long exhaust canopy with a ¾-hp exhauster with damper rated at 945 CFM, 1" static pressure.

The oven is framed with 2" × 2" 14-gauge structural steel and is floor mounted, incorporating the customer’s conveyor system for easy installation.
