Triton HW-1000 from Dow Chemical Co. is a non-alkylphenolethoxylate-based surfactant formulated for high-performance wetting and leveling and offering low-foaming and de-foaming capabilities. It effectively reduces the surface tension of waterborne solutions under both static and dynamic statuses. Thus, it is capable of wetting various substrates and reducing defects while improving the gloss and smoothness of coating films, the company says.

The surfactant is suitable for a variety of applications, including coatings, printing and inks, metalworking fluids, cleaning, agrochemicals, and adhesives.
