AB Plastics will exhibit a dual-laminate plating process tank that combines the chemical and corrosion resistance of thermoplastics with the durability and impact resistance of fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP).

The tanks use a thermoplastic inner surface such as polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) for improved service life, while the FRP exterior structure offers increased strength, durability and external chemical resistance, the company says. This manufacturing technique can also be applied to exhaust hoods, fume ductwork and scrubbers.
