Atotech will present ELeVEN HP 910, a high-phosphorus electroless nickel process for steel and aluminum substrate materials. The process is designed to provide a smooth, whitish, semi-bright deposit that offers improved corrosion and wear resistance. The resulting finish is said to offer excellent hardness and to be pore-free even with high thickness. While providing compressively stressed deposits over the process lifetime, the electroless nickel coating also features increased ductility and passes the nitric acid test, the company says.

ELeVEN HP 910 is Pb- and Cd-free, and does not contain toxic heavy-metal stabilizers. It also is ELV, WEEE and RoHS compliant.
