EPI will be exhibiting its E-chrome ultra yellow trivalent yellow process that it says produces 150 hours of salt spray exposure, doesn’t fade in the sun, and passes the thumb test. When baked at 325-400°F, corrosion resistance doubles to 300 hours of salt spray. Also new is EPI's Cu-Mag process for plating on magnesium substrates, which is said to produce a copper-nickel-chrome deposit with superior corrosion resistance. EPI's alkaline non-cyanide copper E-Brite Ultra Cu and alkaline non-cyanide silver E-Brite 50/50 processes, acid copper, nickel, electroless nickel (RoHS and ELV compliant) and brass plating processes will also be exhibited along with black oxide hot and cold, rust preventives, bright dips and antiquing/oxidizing processes.
