The Autophoretic® Coating Chemicals (ACC®) 900 Series of epoxy resin-based coatings offer productivity and environmental venefits while delivering improved finish appearance and corrosion resistance on ferrous substrates. The series is said to simplify operation by removing several material handling and pretreatment steps. The coatings are said to enhance productivity by decreasing potential for coating buildup on racks as well as have additional cost bbenefits because of its "first-pass" transfer efficiency and the absense of labor for reworking/recouting parts. The sutodeposition  process does not need electricity to "throw" coatings into recessed areas,  which generates savings in energy consumption. This characteristic of autodeposition creastes the ability to coat evenly on threaded parts, around sharp corners and inside log, tubular structures. The series' chemical adhesion to metal parts is designed to ensure rinse baths stay cleaner, helping to further reduce operating costs.
