The ET-III-W is a high-efficiency evaporation system designed specifically to evaporate water from high-solids content solutions, helping users recover chemicals from rinse water. The unit uses both up- and down-draft spraying at very high flow rates to yield high evaporation rates at moderate or even ambient temperature. For rates of only 3-4 gal/hr, for example, no added heat is required. The system also uses no resins, membranes or electrolytic plate-out cells, all of which require maintenance. It neither adds nor removes chemistry, so the process remains unchanged. The system uses only two moving parts: a pump and a low-cost blower. All components are produced from molded polyethylene, and tank wall thickness is ¼-3/8 inch. Other materials used are high-temperature CPVC, polypropylene, PVC and stainless fasteners.
