Universal Flow Monitors Inc. has released new literature describing its P420 Series plastic, vortex shedding flow rate transmitters for corrosive fluids, water, brine and low-viscosity fluids in water treatment, chemical and desalination applications. The literature focuses on the claimed benefits and features of the P420 plastic-construction flowmeters for cost-effectiveness in transmitting water and corrosives. The new literature provides information on transmitters with wetted parts entirely of either polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) for greater heat resistance. The literature is available on the Universal Flow Monitors website by scrolling to “The Non-Paddlewheel OEM Meter” on the homepage.
