SP-10 semi-automatic grit blast system, Guyson Corp.

Guyson Corp.’s SP-10 semi-automatic grit blast system is engineered for batch processing gas turbine blades. This system uses the company’s precision Model 150/16 reclaim system, which is designed to keep fine 240-grit alumina oxide flowing. Six guns are mounted to the gun oscillator that moves at a programmed rpm, adjustable on the human-machine interface (HMI). The table speed is also adjustable through the HMI and is designed to handle the large 34" diameter basket and its 100-lb load. The system is engineered with a segmented polyurethane-coated basket to prevent part-on-part impingement and masking.
