Haviland Products Co.’s Jet Black B2 is designed to be an easy-to-prepare and easy-to-maintain completely trivalent conversion process that produces a deep black, lustrous finish. According to the company, it is the industry’s blackest black trivalent black passivate for alkaline and acid chloride zinc.
Haviland says the process will withstand as many as 250 hrs to white corrosion in 5 percent neutral salt-spray solution when correctly applied in conjuction with Prodigy ECP or Prodigy Seal 3000 topcoat. Jet Black B2 also is designed for improved shelf life and bath stability.
