Hemco Corp.’s CleanAire Hepa and carbon filters are designed to be mounted inline in the exhaust ducting from a fume hood or contaminant source (as high as 1,500 cfm). The filter pack includes a galvanized-steel housing with a hinged and gasketed access door for filter changeout and molded composite resin inlet/outlet plenums with duct connection collars sized to meet specification. The Hepa filter is 99.99 percent efficient in removing particulates as small as 0.3 microns. The carbon filter incorporates virgin coconut shell and is effective at absorbing organic solvents and acid fumes. Both filters include a 30-percent pleated pre-filter and can be paired together for applications that require both particulate and fume removal.
