The metal refractory grid on Red-Ray’s MR-12 infrared burner is designed to resist impact, thermal shock and water damage. It also features a built-in flame arrester for increased flash resistance, which is beneficial for use with propane/air, the company says.

The burner features heat output of 20,400 Btu/hr for a single 12-inch section and develops burner face temperature to 1,700°F, with a turndown ratio of 4 to 1.
