Palm Commodities International offers Umicore’s Platinode platinized titanium anodes. These titanium anodes are coated with layers of platinum and used in various surface and electrochemical applications. They can replace lead anodes with advantages such as extended anode life, no disposal of lead waste, lower labor cost and high corrosion resistance, according to the company. Applications include metal electroplating, electroforming, plating on plastic, electrogalvanizing, plating of alloys and hard chrome plating.
