RGF Environmental Group manufactures the ESP line of emulsion splitting and encapsulation treatment systems for the cleaning industry. ESP units are PLC-controlled. Fully automatic batch treatment systems range from 200-1,200 gph. According to the company, the systems and process have been effective in treating waste streams of contaminants such as heavy metals, emulsified oils, non-settling fine suspended solids, and high BOD levels. The treated effluent can be discharged to sanitary sewer lines or can be reused if the process is suited for it. A solid-waste “filter cake” output can usually be disposed of as non-hazardous waste after passing a standard TCLP test.
