Beckers Group Appoints Chief Sustainability Officer
Since 2016 Nicklas Augustsson’s focus has been sustainability, driving the group sustainability agenda and heading the global sustainability team.

Beckers Group, an industrial coatings company, has appointed Nicklas Augustsson as its first chief sustainability officer (CSO). Augustsson is a permanent member of the executive committee of Beckers Group, and is continuing to report to chief technology officer, Gavin Bown.
Augustsson has been with Beckers for more than 20 years and has worked in various departments covering sales, research and development, and technical services. Since 2016 his focus has been sustainability, driving the group sustainability agenda and heading the global sustainability team. He holds a Master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and studied business administration and business development at the Stockholm School of Economics, as well as leadership at INSEAD.
