Binks Celebrates Global HQ Move to Enhance Fluid Tech Innovation, Operational Excellence
Binks opens a 120,000-square-foot facility in Shoreview, Minnesota, consolidating operations and establishing a Controls Center of Excellence to support advanced manufacturing and customer-focused solutions.
Binks (Oakdale, Minnesota), formerly known as Carlisle Fluid Technologies, celebrated a major milestone with the official ribbon-cutting of its new 120,000-square-foot global headquarters in Shoreview, Minnesota, on July 15. The event marked the culmination of an extensive transformation, including the company’s rebrand and facility consolidation, ushering in a new era of innovation, growth and customer-focused manufacturing.
Company leaders, employees, local officials and community partners gathered to commemorate the opening of the new headquarters, which now serves as Binks’ global Controls Center of Excellence. The celebration highlighted the company’s strengthened commitment to operational excellence and sustainability, as well as its investment in the local workforce and economy.
The Shoreview facility unites multiple legacy sub-brands under the Binks name and consolidates Minnesota operations previously located in Blaine and Oakdale. By centralizing the design, development and manufacturing of control-related products, the site plays a critical role in advancing Binks’ efforts to develop technologies for factories of the future — providing next-generation productivity to customers around the world.
“Shoreview was selected for its access to the marketing, product development and electronic manufacturing talent needed to deliver Binks’ technology-forward strategy,” explains Fred Sutter, CEO of Binks. The new headquarters now employs highly skilled professionals across CNC machining, electromechanical assembly, manufacturing engineering, product development and more — bolstering the local economy and reinforcing the company’s operational foundation.
In addition to its Shoreview headquarters, Binks maintains a robust U.S. presence through strategic facilities in Jackson, Tennessee; Wixom, Michigan; and Toledo, Ohio. Together, these sites enhance nationwide logistics, elevate service responsiveness and ensure reliable delivery of fluid technologies. Binks also supports a growing global footprint with operations across Europe and Asia.
