The ChemQuest Group, a global consulting firm focused on business strategy and optimization, technology acceleration, market intelligence and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry, has named Sandrine Garnier, Ph.D., as a director at the company.
With more than 20 years of experience, Garnier has managed growth-driven multinational businesses and teams, including work in technical product development and positioning, sales management, market and pricing strategies and marketing initiatives. She will draw on this experience in support of ChemQuest’s Business Strategy and Transformation and M&A Advisory Services pillars.
Garnier began her career as a development chemist with Bostik. She rose to the level of technical business development manager with the company before moving to positions of increasing responsibility with OMNOVA (acquired by Synthomer in 2020) and Addmaster U.K. Ltd. Prior to her role at ChemQuest, she served as director of corporate development, Europe, for Moleaer Inc., a developer of industrial-scale nanobubble technology.
“ChemQuest is thrilled to have someone with Sandrine’s extensive experience working on our team,” says Daniel Murad, ChemQuest CEO. “She is particularly accomplished in market research and assessment, skills that are essential as we assist our clients in identifying opportunities for profitable growth.”
Garnier earned a doctorate in the field of thermosetting adhesives, a master’s degree in wood sciences and two bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and materials sciences from Henri Poincaré University (Nancy 1) in France. Based in the U.K., she speaks English, French, Dutch and German.
“It is a great honor to be joining the ChemQuest team of specialty chemicals and materials experts,” Garnier says. “I am excited to help strengthen and expand the group’s international presence in Europe and the U.K. by applying the skills I’ve learned over the past 20-plus years working in technical, innovative and challenging markets. I look forward to helping clients identify new markets and opportunities, strategically and profitably grow and develop their businesses.”
