500°F Clean Room Truck Oven Eliminates Particle Contaminants
Grieve’s No. 970 applications include sterilization, depyrogenation, curing and drying.
Grieve’s No. 970 is a 500°F, electrically heated, Class 100 clean room oven used for a variety of heat processings, such as sterilizing, depyrogenation, curing and drying workloads. Workspace dimensions are 36 × 42 × 66. It features 30 kW installed in incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 3-hp recirculating blower generates 2,400 cfm horizontal airflow to the workload.
The oven features 4”-thick insulated walls and floor, and a control panel face. The unit also includes removable truck wheel guide tracks. It has a 325 cfm stainless steel, powered forced exhauster; two 24 × 30 × 12” thick stainless steel, high-temperature HEPA-recirculating air filters; digital indicating temperature controller; manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactor; recirculating blower airflow safety switch; and a 10”-diameter circular chart recording temperature controller.
