EXAIR’s (Cincinnati, Ohio) new 2-1/2 NPT Heavy Duty Threaded Line Vac is a powerful in-line conveyor capable of transporting high volumes of material through ordinary pipe.
The company recommends this conveyor for rugged, industrial applications, saying its hardened-alloy construction helps prevent premature wear when transporting abrasive or heavy materials like shot blast, tumbling media or metal fittings. Large throat diameters allow users to convey more material over longer vertical and horizontal lengths, while directed nozzles using compressed air to produce vacuums and high output flows at opposite ends create instantaneous responses. According to EXAIR’s tests, the Heavy Duty Threaded Line Vac’s conveying rate is twice that of ordinary air-powered conveyors.
Seven sizes from 3/4 NPT to 3 NPT fit popular pipe sizes. Eleven sizes of standard duty models made from aluminum, 303SS and 316SS are also available with or without threads. All EXAIR Line Vacs are CE-compliant and meet OSHA pressure requirements.
