SATA has introduced the new SATAjet K 1800 spray mix for the field of high pressure coating. With spray mix technology, the paint material is applied at high pressure, creating a pre-formed airless spray fan. Through the air cap, compressed air is fed to this airless spray fan, which helps to shape it and enables an even droplet distribution. The result is a homogeneous material application for highest surface quality.

The SATAjet K 1800 is designed for wide range of applications in various sectors, from the woodworking and automotive industry to machinery, steelwork, shipbuilding and also container construction. According to SATA, the spray mix spray gun is suited for both classic craftsmanship as well as for industrial applications, including large surfaces and a wide range of components.

Key features of the SATAjet K 1800, which enable continuous and time-intensive coating processes, include a low trigger force of only 24 Nm, a light weight and a two-part ClampLock paint needle system to enable easier maintenance.

Additional features include a ball-shaped tip of the paint needle; a pre-nozzle with tungsten carbide insert; a paint nozzle with nozzle core made of tungsten carbide; high surface quality at a pressure in the range of 500 – 3625 psi; a trigger with an integrated lock; adjustable fan size; compatibility with water- and solvent-based paint systems; an easy to clean and corrosion-resistant anodized surface and optional swivel joints for air and material connection.

The SATAjet K 1800 spray mix is available in three versions, with different nozzle sizes available for individual setups. In addition, users can retrofit a swivel joint for the material connection, as well as for the air connection. SATA says this reduces the twisting of the connected hoses and makes the painting process easier.
