The wheels include aluminum oxide and silicon carbide grains, and come in a variety of grades and sizes. Superior Abrasives says the Shur-Brite wheels perform best with ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless materials in applications like cleaning, blemish removal and flash removal from non-metallic composites. A Shur-Brite Satin Finishing Wheel variation is also available in flap and duplex brushes for angle grinders.
