Join the CCAI Atlantic Coast chapter for a presentation on Current Trends in Powder Coating Layering Systems. Our speaker with be Marty Korecky, Marketing Specialist-Business Services and Applications Engineering Laboratory Manager-Powder Coatings, with Akzo Nobel.
The coatings industry has used multiple layers of coatings for a variety of reasons; appearance, performance, substrate limitations, specifications, legacy, and marketing. An overview of all with current/future trends will be discussed. We will look at the advancements in coatings systems where more than one coating has been applied. Form recoated parts to Powder-on-Powder, we will examine benefits and challenges associated with multi-layering coatings.
