Blackstone Industries of Piedras Negras (Mexico) has announced the inauguration of its polishing and plating facility in Piedras Negras, situated on the Texas border. A subsidiary of American Reshore, LLC, this establishment is providing cross border solutions for the Near Shore movement, affirming American Reshore’s strategic role in reshaping the North American industrial manufacturing supply chain.
Blackstone Industries Facility Key Features:
- 160+ polishing stations
- Two large, high-production copper, nickel and chrome (Cr3 and Cr6) plating lines
- 128,000 square ft.
- 4000 KVA electrical capacity
- Utilization of water sourced from the nearby Rio Grande River
- IMMEX certification for cross border logistics and tariff mitigation
The ongoing 2024 line conversion project facilitating the production of up to 90 flight bars per shift of automotive quality trivalent chrome (Cr3) parts.
