The Powder Coating Institute (PCI, Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) has appointed Mike Withers, architectural segment leader at Axalta Coating Systems (Houston, Texas) to the 2020 Board of Directors. Withers will fill the seat vacated by Ron Cudzilo of George Koch Sons LLC (Evansville, Ind.), who retired in March.
Withers has been a member of PCI since starting at Axalta in 2013 and has been involved with PCI’s Education Committee, Technical Committee and is the chair of the institute’s Promotions Committee.
“It is truly an honor to serve on the PCI Board of Directors,” remarks Mike. “My involvement in PCI has greatly broadened my knowledge base of everything powder coating,” says Withers. “Having an opportunity to serve on the Board with the leaders in the powder coating industry is truly one of the highlights of my career.”
