The 6500 HCT blue epoxy coating from Powder Technology Inc. (PTI) is designed for the electrical market. The coating is said to be high cut-through-resistant and have high dielectric strength.
Applications for the coating include use for bus bars, stators, armatures and other similar types of components. The coating can be applied via fluidized bed or electrostatic spray. In addition, 6500 HCT exceeds NASA outgassing standards, according to the company.
