Kolene Corp. Promotes Second Chief Operating Officer
In addition to Timothy Shoemaker, the cleaning and conditioning company brings in Peter L. Shoemaker into the COO fold.

In another executive announcement, Kolene Corp. (Detroit, Michigan) has promoted Peter L. Shoemaker to chief operating officer. Shoemaker will continue to lead Kolene’s chemical supply chain and order fulfillment departments and the company’s critical replacement parts revenue segment.
Shoemaker, who holds a BA and an MBA from Central Michigan University, joined Kolene in 2003 and has held numerous positions within the company — from commercial processing sales, field service, chemical raw material strategy and procurement, to assisting in the deployment of Kolene’s heat treat salts.
Throughout his career, Shoemaker has forged numerous strategic partnerships and key relationships with critical suppliers of Kolene’s raw materials, as well as with the company’s service providers. His experience and understanding of the company’s chemistry needs has enabled him to find creative ways to maximize and leverage Kolene’s requirements of crucial chemical constituents.
In his new COO role, Shoemaker has not only gained responsibility for the company’s commercial processing revenue segment, but also has management responsibility and oversight for Kolene’s internal R&D efforts and chemical lab activities.
