Superior Metal Finishing has served the electronics, medical and aerospace industries since 1980, and specializes in plating of gold, electroless nickel and tin.

The Portland division is Pioneer's base for servicing the Oregon and Washington regions, says Bob Pyle, president and CEO of Pioneer Metal Finishing.

In 2007, Pioneer Metal Finishing employed 700 people and had $55 million in sales, but has been acquiring businesses throughout the Midwest and other regions in the last few years. Clients include Boeing, Honeywell, Trek, Master Lock, Callaway and automotive giants Ford, GM, Chrysler and Toyota.
