ALTANA Names Next President of BYK Division
Dr. Tammo Boinowitz will become managing director of specialty chemical supplier ALTANA’s BYK division in January 2021 and transition to the role of president.

Dr. Tammo Boinowitz
ALTANA (Wesel, Germany), global supplier of specialty chemicals, including environmentally compatible solutions for coating manufacturers, has announced Dr. Tammo Boinowitz will become managing director of its BYK division as of January 1, 2021. After a two-month training and transitional phase, he will also become the president of BYK Chemie GmbH, succeeding Dr. ChristophSchülnken, who has headed the division on an interim basis since October of last year in parallel with his responsibilities on ALTANA’s Management Board.
Dr. Tammo Boinowitz has many years of international management experience in specialty chemicals. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry and has held various management positions at Evonik (Essen, Germany) since 2008.
