Valence Surface Technologies’ Everett, Washington location received approvals for anodizing, NDT and additional support processes to the Boeing Defense (Saint Louis, Mo.) PS specifications. This will support military and defense programs, such as the F-15 and F/A-18 statements in the Pacific Northwest United States.

Valence Everett (formerly known as Blue Streak Finishers) is a large-parts processor with 30-foot capability for NDT, shot peen, chemical processing and painting. It offers services for most material types in major primes such as Boeing, Gulfstream, Cessna, United Technologies and more. Its parent company, Valence Surface Technologies, is an independent provider of aerospace and defense finishing services that operates 12 facilities in key aerospace and defense manufacturing regions and maintains over 3,500 industry approvals.

The specific approvals Valence Everett received from Boeing Defense are:

  • PS 13201 - Anodize of Aluminum
  • PS 13209 - Chemical Conversion Coating of Aluminum
  • PS 21202 - Penetrant Inspection
