Paradigm Metals to Build New Facility in Texas

The company provides precision sheet metal fabrication, machining, screen printing, powder coating and additional services, and expects to invest in excess of $10 million in the new facility.

Paradigm Metals, of Pflugerville, Texas, plans to move into a new 100,000-square-foot facility in nearby Hutto, in 2019, and substantially grow its business. 

The company, which provides precision sheet metal fabrication, machining, screen printing, powder coating and additional services, expects to invest in excess of $10 million in the new facility, which includes the costs of purchasing the land, planning, relocation, equipment and construction. Construction is expected to begin later this year.

Paradigm currently has more than 250 employees, and owners Ogea and Dan Chew told Hutto city council members this month that they project their company will grow to more than 400 employees by 2021.

The company also operates a 18,000-square-foot facility in Taylor, Texas, that manufactures wood crates, which require specially treated materials and lumber for international shipping. Its customers include original equipment manufacturers and contract manufacturers in the telecommunication, semiconductor, medical and defense industries.
