Rosler Celebrates Expansion of Michigan Facility
$6 million expansion is expected to bring 50+ new jobs to Battle Creek facility

Rosler Metal Finishing USA cut the ribbon Oct. 6 on its new $6 million expansion at its 300,000-square-foot facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. The German-based company opened its North American headquarters there in 1999, and the expanded facility will provide Rosler's North American customers with mass finishing equipment, media and professional system engineering services.
Activities at the opening included tours, a luncheon and entertainment as the company announced that it will hire 36 new employees as part of the expansion. Rosler was aided by city officials waving some prevailing wage provisions.
"The city's action and decision was integral to Rosler's decision to maintain and expand our North American headquarters in Battle Creek," said Rosler President Harold Wagenknecht, who attended the event.
He also said Rosler eventually may surpass its initial new-employment estimate.
"The final result will be at least 50 new jobs created as a result of our expansion," says Wagenknecht.
