The CCAI Salt Lake City Chapter is hosting its two-day training seminar that includes a hands-on session on September 26 & 27. This training not only covers the physical process of powder coating, but also all the ancillary equipment needed to maximize the performance of your business.
Topics to be covered include:
- System design
- Powder material and selection
- Powder application and containment
- Proper grounding
- Pretreatment
- Water and air quality
- DI and RO equipment
- Stripping parts and hooks
- Troubleshooting
- Quality control testing
- A look at the newest finishes available.
In addition, all attendees will receive the CCAI Powder Coating Manual (a $65 value) and will spend time applying powder coating to actual parts. While this seminar will be conducted in English, we will have multiple, fully bilingual (English-Spanish) people on hand to help with explanations throughout the seminar and during the hands-on segment.
