Q. I have just finished reading the Powder Coating Clinic from the July 2007 issue and I would like to find out where I can locate the powder coating specification that you referenced in this article. I have searched the DOD Web site and I am not able to find this. Please advise. V.C.

A. You may have to go directly to the agency that you are performing the work for in order to obtain the specification. Another alternative would be to use a specification service. Finally, try contacting the Powder Coating Institute (PCI; www.powdercoating.org) for a copy.

Good luck and thanks for reading the column.
