There are a few publications on this subject. The first place to look is in the Metal Finishing Guidebook and Directory, Metal Finishing Publications. Two articles can be found in Plating & Surface Finishing: One by F. B. Schultz, 68, September, 1981, 52 – 56; the other a partial rewrite of this article by J. H. Lindsey, Jr., 87, October, 2000, 16 – 18.
