From the manufacturing floor to the football field, delivering consistent performance excellence is critical to team success. That’s the topic Dr. Amber Selking will drive home at the International ThermProcess Summit (ITPS) and International Finishing & Coatings Summit (IFCS) taking place later this month in Atlanta, Georgia.

The mind is an often untapped and unrealized source of energy, efficiency and effectiveness. Through her experiences working in manufacturing for SPX Corp. and as the mental performance consultant for the University of Notre Dame football team, Dr. Selking developed a methodology for building a championship mindset. This methodology emphasizes the power of positive psychology and how we can exercise, train and discipline our brains to improve performance and leadership skills. Mastering that discipline enables us to begin to transform how we live individually and impact how our teams function at work.

The Chemical Coaters Association and Products Finishing are sponsoring the IFCS in conjunction with ITPS July 30–August 1, at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta hotel. Dr. Selking, founder of Selking Performance Group, will share insights from the field of human performance psychology during the summits’ general sessions.
