Hubbard-Hall welcomes Noel Rutherford as its supply chain manager. In this role, Rutherford will oversee the global purchasing activities for the company, including logistics and inventory.

Rutherford brings over 30 years of global vendor portfolio management experience, negotiating long-term and master purchase agreements, and working with technical teams to identify alternative materials and components when necessary. Most recently, he worked at Carling Technologies Inc. (now part of Littelfuse Inc.) as a commodity manager.

“I am excited to join the team and make a difference for the organization and our customers,” Rutherford says. “With a background in Lean/Six Sigma and commodity management, the company’s mission for better results with less chemistry is one that speaks to my way of thinking and way of looking to drive excellence at all levels.”

Rutherford earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and a master’s of business administration with a concentration in marketing and finance from University of Connecticut.

Rutherford reports to Carter Burningham, director of corporate supply chain, and will be based out of Hubbard-Hall’s facility in Waterbury, Connecticut.

“Noel’s expertise of driving operational excellence will lead to strategic growth for the organization and expand value add for our customers. He has a proven track record for continuous improvement and establishing vendor alliances that will enable us to deliver on our mission to be our customer’s best supplier,” Burningham says.
