Executive roles are changing at Vibrantz Technologies Corp. (Houston, Texas) as Scott Becker has elected to retire as president of its Color Solutions division effective Sept. 30. Becker has over 40 years of experience in the colorants space. Prior to Vibrantz, he was CEO of Chromaflo Technologies, the company he founded in 2012 and which was acquired by American Securities in 2016. Becker serves on the board of the American Coatings Association and was previously a board member for the American Composite Manufacturers Association.
“Scott has been instrumental to the success of what is today Vibrantz’s Color Solutions segment and an integral member of our team since we became a new company in April of 2022,” says D. Michael Wilson, Vibrantz Technologies president and CEO. “Our Color Solutions business is well positioned for further growth because of his commitment. We will miss Scott’s leadership, industry knowledge and experience, and wish him the very best in retirement.”
On Sept. 1, Barry Misquitta assumed the role of president of the Color Solutions segment. Misquitta was formerly the president of the Advanced Materials segment of the company.
David Newton, vice president of global commercial for the Specialty Minerals and Battery Materials division within the Advanced Materials segment, is filling Misquitta’s former role.
It is said Misquitta and Newton are working closely together to promote a smooth transition of leadership responsibilities.
