Polychem Coatings (Gainsville, Texas) has launched its 2021-22 powder coating color trend palettes.
Polychem has specified four distinct Powder Coating Color Trends for 2021-22, each featuring its own palette of colors. The color trends are ‘Home is where the…’ ’Disruption,’ ‘Sustainabwell’ and ‘Space.’ Polychem has prepared a selection of powder colors for interior metal applications to represent each trend.
“It’s certainly no understatement to say that 2020 was a challenging year, on so many different levels,” explains Glynn Mason, president of IFS Coatings, Polychem’s parent company. “The Polychem color palettes for 2021-22 have undoubtedly been influenced by this, from the warm, nurturing colors of our ‘Home is where the…’ trend, through to the bright pops of color as a ray of light and optimism in the ‘Disruption’ trend.”
The design community uses Polychem powders for color on interior metal applications, and the popular color trend collections allow designers and coaters alike to reflect on current ideas and tastes regarding color and effects.
Color trend chip rings are available now, with color trend powders available in containers 5 lbs and larger.
“We see shifts in color and effect throughout the many markets we operate in and always enjoy noting how these new colors are used by our customers,” Mason continues. “We create thousands of colors every year, from manufacturing stock favorites to creating brand new custom colors. Ensuring the latest trends are available in beautiful, competitively priced, quality and sustainable powders to inspire our customers is a key part of what we do.”
