After serving as general manager of Rösler Turkey for almost a decade, Dr. Tayfun Sigirtmac has been named CEO of the company’s U.S. subsidiary headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Sigirtmac began working for Kromas Makina, the Turkish arm of Rösler, in 2014 and was chosen to lead the U.S. operation by Stephan Rösler, the proprietor of Rösler Group, the company’s worldwide headquarters. He officially assumed the U.S. role in September. His educational background began with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, followed by both master’s and Ph.D degrees.

Prior to joining Rösler, Sigirtmac’s professional background includes over 18 years of experience in management positions, from middle to upper management; leading international investment projects in China, Brazil and Bulgaria; and managing the R&D and technology strategies of a Tier 1 automotive supplier company with thousands of employees.

Sigirtmac’s primary responsibilities include increasing the company’s position in the North American surface finishing market, achieving 100% customer satisfaction and creating a happy and productive work environment for employees.

“I am committed to building on the strong foundation that has been laid by previous management teams here at Rösler,” Sigirtmac says. “I believe that Rösler has the potential to be a leader in the surface finishing industry in North America, and I am confident that, with the support of my team, we can achieve our goals.”
