Polyurethane Primer Offers Improved Protection Over 2-Component Epoxies
PPG’s Spectracron AdvantEdge HPP is formulated without heavy metals and features a wide application window, compatibility with common topcoat hardeners and shorter wet-on-wet application times
PPG’s Spectracron AdvantEdge HPP is a polyurethane primer designed to provide extended corrosion protection, enhanced performance on sharp laser-cut edges and superior chip resistance over traditional two-component epoxy primers. It is suited for use in heavy-duty equipment, general finishing and transportation applications.
Formulated without heavy metals, the primer features a wide application window, compatibility with common topcoat hardeners and shorter wet-on-wet application times, enabling increased process efficiency. It can work with a variety of pretreatment systems and over a multitude of different substrates. As a result, it can ensure consistent end-product quality, despite variation in surfaces and surface prep, PPG says.RELATED CONTENT
