Atotech's Techseal Brilliant Silver Maximizes Performance
Topcoat provides appearance of zinc plating with the benefits of zinc flake coatings.
Atotech’s Techseal brilliant silver zinc flake coatings are designed to offer the appearance of zinc electroplating while providing the benefits of zinc flake coatings. According to the company, when Techseal brilliant silver is applied over Zintek One HP, the coating exceeds 1,000 hours neutral salt spray. It is a hydrogen embrittlement-free application method, which is said to be useful for high-visibility, high-strength parts for both OEM or construction applications. The company says that other benefits include low thickness (10-12 microns); consistent coefficient of friction; good chemical and scratch resistance; bimetallic compatibility with aluminum; and is RoHS, WEEE and ELV compliant.
