Deltech Acquires StanChem, Expands Capabilities
StanChem is to operate under the name StanChem Resins as a division of Deltech.

Deltech Holdings (Deltech), a producer of high-performance aromatic monomers, specialized crystal polystyrene and resins for the coatings, composites, construction and other end markets, has acquired StanChem Inc. (StanChem).
With more than 50 years of experience serving blue chip customers, StanChem offers emulsion polymers for architectural and industrial markets through StanChem Polymers. The company also offers a line of protective coatings through Albi Protective Coatings.
StanChem will operate as StanChem Resins, a division of Deltech, and continue to be overseen by its existing management. Both companies believe that StanChem’s R&D capabilities, product portfolio, manufacturing flexibility and established customer relationships complement Deltech’s existing monomers business, creating opportunities to better serve customers and find additional commercial opportunities.
“The strategic acquisition of StanChem represents a major step to further build out our capabilities in the CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers) value chain. We look forward to partnering with Paul and the StanChem team during this next phase of growth,” says Jesse Zeringue, Deltech president and CEO.
