Valence Eastman Gains Multiple Approvals from Sikorsky

Valence Surface Technologies LLC (Valence) is pleased to announce its Eastman, Georgia location gained multiple approvals from the Lockheed Martin Sikorsky rotorcraft business. Valence Eastman is a provider of surface treatment for highly engineered products in the aerospace and defense market serving the south-central region of the United States.
This VST operating location was founded in 2005 and was formerly known as Dynamic Paint Solutions. Valence Eastman expanded the scope of its operation to over 65,000 square feet, over 80 employees at the location and is focused on accumulating a full range of aerospace OEM and industry approvals. The Valence Eastman facility is in the middle of Georgia with established weekly truck service to Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and the entire state of Georgia to promote good service and lead-times for customers.
When asked about the renewal process, VST Eastman general manager Justin Fordham commented, “I am proud of our team and the teamwork put forth by every function from Quality to Facilities. Everyone has answered the call and worked hard to achieve this important OEM approval of our capability. Our Eastman leadership team is committed to the expansion of processing capabilities to ensure service for customers throughout the region.”
The VST Eastman site is part of a national network of processing facilities dedicated to ensuring that OEM compliant metal finishing is available locally for manufacturers of parts for commercial, business and defense aviation, medical and space end markets. Valence continues to invest in expanding its capabilities and approvals in the southeast region to support future growth plans.

- Preparation for bonding of titanium
- Phosphoric acid anodizing
- Application of adhesive primer
- Magnetic particle inspection
- Fluid penetrant inspection

- NDT qualification
